Privacy Policy for Tabi for Kids

Tabi for Kids (“Tabi”) is a game for young children, published by Cronoghirian (Federico Giorgi). This policy explains what the app does with information. It is short because the app does very little.

The short version

Tabi collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no way to. It has no internet access, no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics. Everything that happens in the app stays on your device.

Information we collect

None.

We do not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal information, and we do not collect any information about your child. Specifically, Tabi does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, photographs, contacts, location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics.

Tabi does not ask your child to type anything, and contains no text fields, no sign-in, and no way to send a message to anybody.

The app has no internet access

Tabi requests no Android permissions at all, including no internet permission. The app is not technically capable of sending data anywhere, whether we wanted it to or not. This can be verified by anyone who inspects the app package: it declares no uses-permission entries.

The app works entirely offline, including on a device in airplane mode.

What is stored on your device

One thing is stored locally on your device, and never leaves it:

Settings. A small file holding whether sound and music are on. That is a parent’s preference, not a record of your child. There are no scores, no progress and no history, because the game has nothing to win or lose.

That is all. Tabi does not write anything into your photo gallery, your documents, or anywhere else outside its own storage, and it cannot read them either. Uninstalling Tabi removes the settings file and leaves nothing behind.

No advertising

Tabi contains no advertising of any kind — no banners, no interstitials, no “rewarded” video, and no cross-promotion of other apps. It does not use the Android Advertising ID. It contains no in-app purchases: it is bought once and that is the end of it.

No third parties

Tabi contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or social SDKs. No third party receives any information from this app, because the app sends no information to anybody.

The app is built with the Godot game engine, which runs entirely on your device and does not transmit data.

Children’s privacy

Tabi is designed for children. We have designed it so that compliance with children’s privacy law is a consequence of the app’s architecture rather than a promise about our conduct.

COPPA (United States). We do not collect personal information from children under 13, so no verifiable parental consent is required.
GDPR and GDPR-K (European Union / EEA and United Kingdom). We do not process personal data, so there is no lawful basis to establish, no data subject to access, rectify, erase or port, and no data transfers.
Google Play Families Policy. Tabi contains no links out of the app, no purchases, and no collection of personal information, so there is nothing in it that a parental gate would need to protect.

A note for parents on keeping your child in the app. Tabi cannot prevent a child leaving it — no app can, and none should be allowed to interfere with the device’s own Home button or gestures. If you want your child kept to one app, use Android’s App pinning (Settings → Security → App pinning), or Samsung Kids on Galaxy tablets. Those are part of the operating system and are far more reliable than anything an app could do.

If you believe your child has somehow provided personal information through this app, please contact us — although we do not believe it is possible.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a future version were ever to collect anything at all, we would say so here plainly and before it happened.
